mancini's patronising words

he's right, tevez was carrying a fucking injury and had to go off, and the only other stirker is Jo, who everyone has said is wank, some of you are so fickle, FFS, get off his back and do what the supporters are suppost to do and support while mancini can get on with what his job is, MANAGING THE TEAM!

Ok, the usual four, plus Toure and De Jong and quite often, Milner, too.
I'll amend that to six and a half at a stretch. But at home? To Birmingham, who had eight in defence?
Explain it.

Right, so if you try to defend at all you are a defender.

Why not include Tevez?

No:
If you're a midfielder and your priorityis to defend, you're basically a defender.

back 4 plus dejong = 5

the problem is that he is playing yaya as an attacking midfielder which he isnt

and milner just isnt cutting it at all as far as attacking goes (creatively or as a goal threat)

plus the addition of barry made it 6 defensive minded players

whe we attack we are doing it with tev, silva and aj....with yaya supporting (and sometimes milner)

the rest barely register as an attacking threat

The problem with Toure and Milner supporting our attack is that they generally get there too late and are running into a packed defence with no room to play.

When you start patronising the very people whose support you need, then you're in trouble.

Firstly you'll only get offended if the cap fits. He must've been responding to the boos that met the substitution when an unfit Tevez had signalled to be taken off, that's hardly from people who support you to be fair.

-- Mon Nov 15, 2010 2:50 am --

Not happy.

Accepted strategy against MU. Against B'ham, should have been more adventurous.

How exactly? We started with an attacking 4 of Tevez (not fully fit), Silva, AJ and Milner with Yaya making a number of decent forward runs and passes. Balotelli is suspended and Ade injured. What would you have done differently to make it more adventurous? At what point do the players who are actually on the pitch take some responsibility? He didn't ask them to miss all those chances.
