Re: Manuel Pellegrini
We haven't had sufficient pace or mobility to be an effective force in Europe from the day we played Napoli to this. We can't counterattack because of it, we can't get back and cover because of it, and we can't press because of it. We are easy pickings to all but the shittiest of minnows. I don't necessarily blame Pellegrini for that. Nor do I blame him for having to try and get the best out of self indulgents cnuts like Mr Birthday Cake.
What I do blame him for is his seemingly complete obliviousness to the nature of our problems. How many times he is going to pick the same incompatible and immobile midfield duo, and then compound that error by adding a touch line hugging lightweight to the midfield mix, is anybody's guess. If he ain't a dead man walking after tonight, then it'll only be due to the lack of an immediately viable alternative, and a desire at boardroom level not to undermine our chances of a top 4 finish again this season
