Not his fault, the fault lies with the people who recruited him.

He's not a top 10 coach, not great tactically or motivator.

It could but Mancini had to at least overcome a 40 year hurdle and had Ferguson, rather than Brent, to deal with.

The squad needs some more quality added to it now but over the years I wouldn't argue with those who say that our players haven't had the quality of manager they deserve.

Pellegrini had Mourinho to contend with and it being his first season in charge in English football. Saying that both have failed to mount a decent defence of the title.

Mourinho had absolutely 0 strikers. If he had had 1 decent striker CFC would probably be champions now, not us.

That was his excuse but he did sign Samuel Et'o and Chelsea signed £108,400,000 worth of players not mention experience of winning the league in this country.

but they wanted a nice guy, who doesn't shout.

Knocked out of the league cup at home to Newcastle.
Knocked out of the FA cup at home to Boro
So many shit home performances in the league Burnley Arsenal Hull Stoke.
Threw away the Community Shield by fielding a weak team.
Barely scrapped through the Champs league group

I havent said anything about Pellegrini up until now but have lost my patience. He needs to go.

For someone like me who doesnt live in manchester, I only go to five or six games in the season as tickets for me, my son and now my nephew (who has turned 5 so has started going with me), travel and food etc all adds up so 5-6 is all i can afford. I mention this as this season I made a real effort for the community shield and it was my sons first wembley visit. We spent all that money, there were train delays then tube cancellations, over priced tickets and then when we get to wembley and hear the team news i thought straight away we are going to lose this. In thd grand scheme of things the shield maybe doesnt matter to the club but it matters to me as a fan who has gone all the way to wembley. It matters to my 8 year who was there for the first time.
Also, last year went to the FA cup game against Wigan which was shocking.

He only cares about the League and Champs league and it pisses me off no end.

He doesnt have any plan B when we are losing and he doesnt know how to shut up shop when we are winning both of which in my opinion Mancini did know how to do.

First time i am saying this but Pellegrini Out!

Poor team selection, and poor tactics. If this season fizzles out he will be gone in the summer. He`s beginning to make Mancini look even better.

And don`t get me started on corners.

Simeone won't ever be City manager. You've not been paying attention if you think he's even in contention.

Very true, but that doesn't mean he isn't the best man for the job. Clearly the best young manager in Europe today, and if we pass and he goes to Arsenal or Liverpool we will live to regret it.

We will indeed. He's probably the one guy who we could get who would get the better of Mourinho on a regular basis.
Pellegrini will be gone at the end of the year because the Spaniards know it's a lot cheaper to sack him than change half the team.

Really disappointed with Manuel recently, we seem to lack a style and more trudge along hoping for a moment of individual brilliance. The problem I have as this is not a transitional period, as these are the same players as served us well last year. I can't see the harm in letting Paddy V take the hot seat till the end of the season. He could even blood a couple of the youth team players to give us some spark.

Most know my stance on the gaffer but today was just abysmal, it really was.

Nobody in charge of a club like us can expect to get away with performances like today.

Wrong side from the start and then his subs were mind bogglingly bad to cap it off.

lets hope madrid implode and ancelotti is available

Pellers should have seen that it wasnt working in the first 20 mins. he waited 45 mins to haul fernando off. then he puts silva in CM whereas nasri would be better (for one he doesnt lose the ball as often and secondly he isnt brushe doff it as easily)

all blame isnt on him though. the tempo of the 1st half was shocking, but i wonder whether that was under instruction. if it wasnt, why wasnt he out of his seat barking the team to up it
