the midfield has been wide open with huge gaps in front of the defenders (especially the two centre halves) since day one of Pellers reign.

there is no surprise the form of all our defenders but in particular Kompany and his successive partners have suffered and we are much more open and easy to score against.

so many people on here have been saying on a regular basis that he needs to get the balance right and he is yet to do that (on a regular basis).....he gets team selections and tactics wrong on a semi regular basis....the surpassing thing is he has shown he can change it BUT then goes bad to something that hasn't worked prior and his stubbornness is killing us in certain games


he needs to adapt and change tactics/personnel a lot more when considering who we are playing. there was no reason for two defensive minded midfielders at home to Hull..........while playing dzeko without anyone to provide width was just strange.

We are conceding too many goals but now only Southampton - who have the best defensive record - are allowing fewer shots on goal than us. I realise that part of the reason for that is that we have most possession but I do think that errors rather than a fundamental flaw in our approach is the reason for too many goals going past Hart & Co. The goal Hull scored is a prime example: that had little or nothing to do with tactical failings and everyhting to do with a whole series of mistakes, from two weak challenges by Dinho through Hart's rush of blood to MDM's failure to just put the ball into touch to ball watching by Vinnie to....

Watched Simeone thrash Real. Should have been 6 or 7. Made Ronny and co look useless.

I want to play like that. We could easily afford to buy players like the ones he has at Atletico. His midfield absolutely dominated. The positions they take and the tackling they do is lightyears beyond us, much better than Mourinho even. Management should do anything they can to get him.

That kind of team would put the fear of God into Chelsea.

They are third in the league. Been beaten by Barcelona 3 times this season. Should we not play like Barcelona and get there manager??

I am not a Mancini fan. But shouldn't we be able to ask about the failing transfer policy. Its simply hasn't worked since they came and its there in black and white for all to see. How much would we get back if we sold them now? Less than what we would get in total for Aguero & Silva.
