pellers did a great job for us, a very charming man, however his prezzers were boring as fuck
The way that man conducted himself that last season was simply outstanding. He was a model professional, and for that reason alone he deserves to go down in City folklore.Ah the old let's give credit for everything to pep. Why couldn't they have been Pellegrini signings? As for the tedious football, some of what Peps been serving up of late hasn't be all that exciting. Pellegrini deserves a bit more respect I feel. It went pear shaped in the end granted but at that stage he was fully aware his tenure was up.
pissing myself
3 trophy’s in 2 seasons Is good going . City legendThe way that man conducted himself that last season was simply outstanding. He was a model professional, and for that reason alone he deserves to go down in City folklore.
I’ve never forgotten the hatred and vitriol sent his way by a significant minority. He was utterly lambasted by some for picking a team that won us a trophy that season - the league cup. He was annihilated on here by some for picking Caballero, even after Willy won us the shoot out. Some could never forgive him for winning us that trophy as their narrative was set. It was disgusting. IMO it was the lowest point in this forums history.
That’s before you consider the filth thrown his way “fucking corpse”, “dying old bastard” etc. This for a man who won us three trophies in three seasons and got us to our first ever CL semi final. Not our best manager, but the most impressive.
If anyone calls Manuel anything other than a true City legend, they’re not a City fan.
Consummate professional; he was on a hiding to nothing and he managed a club in its heightened transition with aplomb… I stand by this, the hierarchy cost us in his final season from lifting the PL, every man and his dog knew he was dead man walking; 3pts off Leicester in feb then we announced Pep, was folly; it was a poor campaign but momentum was with us at that point! The way that man conducted himself that last season was simply outstanding. He was a model professional, and for that reason alone he deserves to go down in City folklore.
