I just wonder why he would want to leave Barca? Gets his CL runners up medal and then wants a challenge or a big fat cheque each month - fatter than his Catalan one!

He doesnt want to just be a cup keeper.

Ter Stegan has got better distribution than Hart but there is more to a goalkeeper than just their kicking ability and he isn't better than Hart.

I'd be shocked if we spend £20m on a goalkeeper considering we have more important positions we need to worry about.

Let's wait to make a full judgement on Hart's distribution when he has players who give him options and movement.

Our side is so static that when he has to play the long ball his options are Kun, Silva, Sterling or Navas. None of them are known for their heading ability.

I doubt even Neuer could have impressive distribution stats in this side.

I would imagine if Stergan comes there will be no fight. He will have been given the nod, so I would fully expect Hart to leave.

I don't know either way but I'd be shocked if Guardiola was to allow Hart to leave without seeing him at close quarters in the preseason.
The point is, we need a number two who's good enough to push Joe. If Willy goes we have to bring somebody in, if there's a chance we can get this lad in then I can see why we would.

A lot is made of Hart's undeniably poor distribution but he's one of the best shot stoppers in the world, particularly one on one. I'd be amazed if anyone prioritised a goalkeeper's passing ability over his... goalkeeping ability.
