He doesnt want to just be a cup keeper.I just wonder why he would want to leave Barca? Gets his CL runners up medal and then wants a challenge or a big fat cheque each month - fatter than his Catalan one!

I see what you did there :-)I just wonder why he would want to leave Barca? Gets his CL runners up medal

Yeah. Bravo is their keeper in the league. Is he Barca's Willy? Just thought he was their main man! Might be I just see the CL games.
I don't know either way but I'd be shocked if Guardiola was to allow Hart to leave without seeing him at close quarters in the preseason.I would imagine if Stergan comes there will be no fight. He will have been given the nod, so I would fully expect Hart to leave.
Ter Stegan has got better distribution than Hart but there is more to a goalkeeper than just their kicking ability and he isn't better than Hart.
I'd be shocked if we spend £20m on a goalkeeper considering we have more important positions we need to worry about.
Yeah. Bravo is their keeper in the league.
Your point makes total sense.I don't know either way but I'd be shocked if Guardiola was to allow Hart to leave without seeing him at close quarters in the preseason.
The point is, we need a number two who's good enough to push Joe. If Willy goes we have to bring somebody in, if there's a chance we can get this lad in then I can see why we would.
If we were going ahead with Willy then I'd see your point. Stegan is a quality all round keeper though, the footwork is just a bonus.+1
A lot is made of Hart's undeniably poor distribution but he's one of the best shot stoppers in the world, particularly one on one. I'd be amazed if anyone prioritised a goalkeeper's passing ability over his... goalkeeping ability.
I get the feeling it's Stegen himself who is pushing it. I wouldnt be totally surprised if he stays there as the number 1 keeper, and he's just giving them a nudge in that direction.Yep, Bravo who turns 33 this month. I find it quite strange that they're happy to let 23 year old Ter Stegen leave rather than just promote him to playing league games. Perhaps they want to jump in and take De Gea while the opportunity is there.

That would make sense. Anyone who's ever played under Pep in the past is in a prime position to renegotiate contracts at the moment. Getting agents to link their players to us seems the easiest way to go about it.Ing er t the feeling it' stegen himself who is pushingnit. No goalkeeper is ever given a contract that states he should be number one. It would be ridiculous, and although we've got form for the ridiculous at our club I doubt even we would be that daft.He is pushing the move because he wants more games, so if he is coming wouldn't he be contracted to the no.1 spot?
It's not nailed on so more to see
Maybe I've just not seen enough of him but I just see him as a keeper with different strengths and weaknesses to Joe rather than an improvement.
