To the man city fans slightly off topic but i know u want to win everything, but is the Champions league more of a priority over the premier.

there is a thread on it in the main forum, if you are interested in some of the views, but in summary it is a pretty resounding no.

The state of this thread. Let me tell you all now. Cucurella is staying at Brighton and I've had it confirmed by someone close to him, that I also know.

It's a nice dream for him and his family, but its coming at the wrong time for them.

He moved to Brighton with a 2 week old baby last year and he and his wife are settled now and she don't want to pack up and move up North where there is no beach, and in her words "agujero de mierda".

He is happy playing for Brighton and will re visit his options next season.

Oh, and some of you need to give your head a wobble thinking you can just point at a player and get him. The arrogance stinks and make you look more tinpot then the Reds, and that takes some doing.
I honestly don't know where this arrogance narrative is coming from.
Yes, there are a lot of posters that admire Cucurella and want him to come to us, and they also have a price in their minds as to what they think he is worth but how is that translated as arrogance?

Started back a fair few pages.

I feel your pain buddy. We've been here with players we couldn't hold onto, it's been happening since football began in 2008. Anyway, I'll be wearing a cuca style wig when you visit us in the frozen north, besides, the club have built a tunnel direct to Southport beach for our foreign lads, free sunbeds for their wives as well. Can you pass that on to your mate?
Funny, my rag neighbour always tells me football started in 1992.

She clearly hasn't visited the hidden gems that Manchester and it's surrounding areas have to offer.

The Bridgewater Canal running under both Patricroft and Monton bridges is known as "The Venice of the North West", the Glass Bridge in Eccles has been given a major makeover in the last decade and rivals the likes of the Golden Gate and the Humber bridges.

Tenerife's Siam Park has a serious competitor in Chorlton Water Park and if you push through Eccles and Brookhouse towards Irlam, the Barton Aerodrome is fast becoming THE biggest international airport in the North. The great and good have all landed here since City got rich in 2008. Only last month, Erling Braut Haaland's private jet flew in direct from Hamm-Lippewiesen.

If it's shopping she wants, she'll be spoilt for choice. The Trafford Centre is the headline snatcher but the more savvy shopper will look towards Stretford Arndale or Salford Precinct.

If you'd ever been to Manchester yourself, you'd know that her alleged snobbery is a fallacy.

Money and prestige talks. Bullshit walks.

He can double his pay, pretty much guarantee winning trophies, appear in the UCL, Have his name become far more recognisable...but no he'll stay because his mrs likes the beaches of brighton!?

These people dont lift a finger when they move so the "settled" bit is reaching too.

Trust me he wants a move. City isn't wasting everyone's time here, City would have contacted his agent to see if he was interested in a move before they would enter any talks with Brighton.
