No one has even discussed the most logical conclusion that Cucurella was a smokescreen for signing Danny Welbeck.

We can only hope so.

How many professional left backs are there in world football? Maybe 500 at a guess. To say only 1 fits our profile is a bit short sighted. Keep the faith, it will all be okay. City are the new standard in world football. City's business profile is working & City are possibly the most succesful club in world football...certainly in England. I'd personally like to stick with what we have or go for a south american. Alvarez looks hungry as anything and i love his work ethic.

It's weird that the best and 3rd best teams in the country both want him, with the 3rd best willing to pay £50m, yet we only think he's worth £40m max. Something doesn't fit there.
