The Albion have the likes of Leandro Trossard, Neal Maupay, and Alexis Mac Allister all out of contract in 2023. If Brighton cannot renew their deals, then they presumably need to be sold this summer to prevent them from being lost on free transfers the following year
You need the money
We have an option for another year on Trossard, you are right about the other two. We also have Sanchez, Lampty, and Coicedo who if they have seasons that they are capable of will bring us money if we need it.

City seems will walk away if Brighton does not budge with their asking price, his long contract remains a stumbling block on why Brighton have the upper hand on why they remain stick to their gun for Cucurella asking price.

It will be different if he still only have 3 or 2, but 4? Yeah good luck with that. Rather we should walk away tbh, It will be Brighton problem if said player is underperform next season even if player himself looks happy on outside. We should go to the next possible LB that will be approachable for asking price.

I would not blame City walking away if Brighton will not budge on the asking price, nor do I blame Brighton for not budging, he is there player and they have a value, they do not have to sell, unhappy player, well that's there business.
