Think so Blue, I guessed the player was Delap but more than likely wrong.Though didn’t Zin on here say the other day there were rumours of one of our fringe players possibly being in the mix as part of this deal?

(I hope I’m wrong too mate)Think so Blue, I guessed the player was Delap but more than likely wrong.
I like the sentiment but the reality is that you deny the player the move and they get pissed off. As a long standing city fan we have been there before. You cant keep top class player out of top clubs / champions league for ever. At some point it makes sense to sell otherwise they will see their arse and that situation always ends up with a lose lose. You could keep him this summer but then he will only want to move on again next summer - assuming he keeps his form.It is a compliment but we have to hold our own.
Especially given the one fact most of them choose to ignore: that they did exactly the same thing to Getafe 12 months agoI do find the fury and indignation of Brighton fans over this a bit odd. In the last couple of years BHAFC have had clubs coming and wanting to pay huge money for players, Arsenal, Spurs and now us. It is testament to how good the youth development and recruitment has been and the progress of the club. Sell or don’t, your choice, but take it as a compliment and settle down.
Brighton employee/agent stirring the pot?I tell you what I haven't been doing with my time before us selling to Arsenal/Chelsea, going on there forums!
Fucking not rights.
Talking shite more like.Brighton employee/agent stirring the pot?
"McAtee has received an overwhelming amount of loan offers which has led to the Premier League champions to consider the potential of their player getting 12 months of first-team football to further his development."Thats not what is doing the rounds now. Funny how the player we wanted is suddenly open for offers, this could be the aving face part everyone talks about.
Correct. Most of us have no fury or indignation….we know where we are in the food chain (moving up, but still a way off the top table). It’s very early days for us in this multi-million transfer market, we’re just incredibly lucky to have a club owner that’s a fan and who has a clear strategy and a big (but not City-big) pile of cash which means he can be choosy about who to sell and when. I’d prefer Cucu to stay personally because he was ****ing brilliant last season, but if Bloom decides you’re paying enough, then he goes with our good wishes.I do find the fury and indignation of Brighton fans over this a bit odd.
