I just wasn't sure as Bloom seems stubborn. Plus the praise he is getting from journalists especially from the athletic, is only going to make him feel vindicated in his £50 million evaluation.
A legend in his own lunchtime, indeed, but two can play that game.
Just as he has a right to ask whatever price he wants for his player, City are under no obligation to pay what he is asking.
If City feel he is overvalued then we will walk away ala Kane.
No biggie.

This is starting to get ugly and Brighton have an unhappy player and again Manchester city will be the villains in all of this, the media will be at it again with man city's power with throwing the oil money around unsettling players,
so many twists and turn rounds and Brighton holding out for the asking price, then the player signing a new deal and staying,

so let the boos start when Manchester city rock up at Brighton
They started last season when they tried to kick us off the pitch…a stark contrast to when we won the title there when their fans were great. Their fans are manipulated by media coverage like so many others.

You`ve forgotten the sandwich and can of coke whilst waiting for his medical.Oh and the air flight to Manc.
Plus the salary of the woman in the canteen who makes the tapas for him during his contract.

Let's just go with 'brutal dictatorship owned, FFP avoiding Citeh use their oil money taken from hard working British peasants to sign foreigner with girl's hair in £250m mega deal and reversing St Boris's levelling up agenda and why this means Liverpool have been proved right'. Should be something in that for each of the papers to use and almost long enough for a Mail headline

I'd say the total opposite. The minute we allowed Zinchenko to leave they knew we have to sign a left back.
That logic doesn't make sense, though. If we had kept Zinchenko, Brighton wouldn't have thought "well they don't really need him, let's sell him for less."

Selling Zinny makes it clear to Cucurella it's now or never. We won't wait for him, we'll move on. Hence the transfer request.
