Marc Cucurella

Spurs finished 4th because Arsenal bottled it and Spurs made a managerial change 4 months into appointing another manager. Spurs had to pay huge amount of severance fee to both Mou and Nuno.

Conte is elite.
Kane was worth 150m to Spurs, he is Spurs and if anyone including us though we could get him for less they were deluded.

Same applies to Cucurella, same applied to Villa and Grealish.

There are no longer any poor clubs in the Premier league, probably only Everton are in a position where they cannot refuse cash and that's only because they have been run appallingly badly.

The big clubs can no longer bully the small clubs into selling their best players.

Will never understand why more players don't get release clauses put into their contracts. If Cucarella puts one in last season at say 35-40m this would have been done weeks ago.

Because you need the clubs to agree to them too

Valuation is important too. Why will we let a club of the size of Brighton take Mickey out of us?
What has the size of Brighton got to do with anything?

This is to do with a player the club badly need, a position we have had a major weakness in for at least 2 seasons.

IF this player is the one, 10m which seems to be the difference if reports are to believed is hardly a huge amount in a business of our size and for a young player than could give us a decade's service if he is the real deal.

We paid 50m for Walker, 50m for Mendy and 50-60 million on Cancelo, so it not an outrageous demand from Brighton.

Come on mate that`s a raggy type comment? Doesnt matter the size of the club, we have something that they contractually control at the minute that we want so we have to find a deal that allows Cucurella to come to us.
