If they get Delap in the play+ cash they will have one hell of player who will be worth twice as much as Cucurlla in 3/4 years time when he is banging in 20+ goals a season! If there is anything in it hope to god we put on a buy back for him…

He’s a natural 10, but plays as an 8 in our EDS team.

To be honest i think the squad is full now, we are sending 3 to USG likely to be the 3 new signings.
The only position we are short is where Cucu plays, everywhere ekse we have enough players to cover, just depends if they are good enough.

He’s a creative, attacking central midfielder mate - a playmaker. Modelled his game on David Silva - I’m not saying he’s anywhere near as good, obvs, but to give you an idea of the style of player we’re talking about.

Won PL2 player of the season, and is VERY highly rated at the Club.

Frankly I’d be extremely surprised if we’d be willing to let him go.

McAtee and Palmer are considered the Crown Jewels of our Academy, and the next most likely to make it after Foden.

It will be intresting what we do with the players we loaned out last season. We have 2 forwards who we need to get rid of and they were out on loan last year, plus Zakiri and Sima if he not injured comming back. Undav looks a good buy so have high hopes with him.

Is Brighton even need Delap?, they have their own striker and i don't see Delap getting enough minutes in there.

Unless we give them huge buyback option around 50m to incentive them to play Delap more, then i don't see any reason they went for him.

If it’s a youth player being tagged on to the deal, I can’t see any of them going straight into any premier league side.

Centre midfield, but I’d be astonished if City were to even loan him to Brighton, never mind sell him. Just signed a new deal at City and Pep’s grooming him for the 1st team in the very near future.
A more likely bet would be Delap, a goal scoring bully of a centre forward at youth level, but who perhaps doesn’t as obviously fit the Pep MO as much as McAtee does. Either way, along with Cole Palmer who’s made several 1st team starts already, they’re the absolute jewels of the City Academy
