Are there certain jobs that people deserve to have for life then regardless?

No there are just certain people who deserve to have treatment on the NHS, which cannot be provided if there is no one there to treat them. There are children who need to be educated and, again, they cannot learn if there is no one to teach them. There are people who deserve to be saved when their home is on fire, if there are no firemen & women they can't be saved. I could go on but I think you might get the picture!!

Basically, I did what I felt was right, if you disagree, then disagree, but that is my freedom of choice!! My grandfather died so that I could use that freedom and so that you could use yours as well.

Ok. what treatment do you draw the line and say that it is not deserved?
What level of education do you decide to say I think they may be clever enough?
Just one more, how many houses/homes per fire engine is the correct amount to be acceptable?

And your grandfather is a hero.

Its just a shame that the efforts of all involved in todays happy peaceful carnival will not change anything.. the goverment will be laughing at it all.

"But we will do it in a way that protects our priorities and we will do one thing first which is we will not cut public spending too soon, before our economy is back on its feet, growing again."

There is no doubt cuts have to be made, our argument is against the speed and ill-thought out plans on cuts.

Has anyone else noticed that all the trouble makers seem to be very middle class, and in some cases upper class, same goes for many top socialists in this country, seems they have a guilt complex.

I once went to an SWP meeting and not one of the members had ever done a days work in their lives most were sociology students and were very middle class.

It always struck me as rather strange (in the 80's) that the working class were quite right wing (many voted Tory) and whilst those that vowed to free them were all middle class

Why the fuck should we all leap to the defences of public sector workers, when you work less hours, have 'flexi time', have longer holidays and those lovely index linked pensions.....

I'm sorry folks but we ALL have to take a cut in the current climate, your pensions are effectively bringing the country to its knees, not those evil bankers and toffs you so loathe. Welcome to the real world.
