I would have liked to see Dennis Suarez and although he wasn't match fit John Guidetti.
But it is really good that Bobby is playing our young players Rekik, Rasak and now Lopes.
Very promising for the future.

More than likely the Txiki influence. Im sure we will see Guidetti as soon as fit aswell as others this season.

Mancini was handing out first senior appearances to our youth players long before Txiki. I think he's the manager who's given the most first appearances to youth players.

Read the Training reports. There are roughly 18 players involved in 1st team training at the moment. With injuries, suspension and ACON there weren't any other senior players available.

Worked out well in this case

HE IS YOUNG, TALENTED ,HIGH RATED AND HAS CONSISTENTLY IMPRESSED IN TRAINING AND DURING THE PRESEASON.

THE FACT THAT HE SCORED TODAY DOES NOT BARE ANY SIGNIFICANCE APART FROM BEING A GREAT MOMENT FOR THE PLAYER PERSONALLY.

Shame we did not see suarez as well.

Suarez broke his leg, out for a while.

He was on the bench yesterday and warming up down the touchline with Mario and Nastasic

I get the feeling you don't rate Maicon?

Maicon gives us that diversity to change from a 4-2-3-1 to a 3-5-2 if need be and with our current injuries/suspensions and Toure brothers at the ACoN some diversity is what we need!

Maicon can play anywhere on the right and could probably do a decent job attacking right with Pablo sat behind him with Dzeko most likely playing due to Aguero being injured he'll love the crosses that Maicon can produce!
