Marcos Lopes

The impatience of football fans frustrate me with youngsters. Not in the team at 18, not good enough.

Iniesta didn't play regularly for Barcelona till he was 21.

I think a loan move to somewhere like Everton next season if they don't get Delfeou again and Barkley leaves. He's proved he can be a useful player for us already but a year in the prem at a good side could be amazing for him.

Everton would be the only team in the Premier League that I would send Marcos on loan to.

Forget the Championship in my opinion, I think he is good enough to test himself in a top flight league.

Everton, Spain, or to a potential team in Portgual we are apparently looking to invest in.

Uwe at Wigan if they hypothetically get promoted?

But I get your point to be honest, there really isn't a club or manager I'd trust to play our lads and give them a fair chance, Guidetti has actually looked decent for stoke when he's come on (only need look at their forums to confirm it) and yet can't get more than the odd 10 minutes a month. Unless a team is absolutely desperate in a position we shouldn't look at the prem.

The other side of loaning youngsters out is to develop a group of trusted managers within clubs where we have strong relationships. This benefits the loan/development system as well as the first team. How many times did the opposition fail to turn up against Utd when they had so many Utd based loan players or links with the Swamp. There were certain fixtures that I couldn't even hope they had any chance of losing.

Given the game they play, and the probable need for a Lallana replacement,Southampton could be a great destination for him.

Except that Utd based loan players wouldn't have been allowed to play against them. I'm sorry but that's just agenda based bollocks.
And are you really suggesting that us loaning players to other PL teams would make it easier to claim the points against them? That's a seriously crap thought.

It actually isnt if you think about it. Everton have loaned Barry and Lukaku for this season and they have arguably been their best players. Do you think it is easier for Chelsea to beat Everton without their main striker or us without their main midfielder of course it is

The loan system is flawed and it should be that no player can be loaned to another team in the same league and/or no player over the age of 21 can go on loan

Your scenario does have merit but that isn't what SaddleworthBlueRhino was claiming, he was claiming (at least seems to be claiming) that united were given a free pass against sides with united loanees or players with past links with the club. As said the loanees couldn't have played anyway and would not have any influence on the other players and just because a player has a past history with them doesn't mean they'll bend over for them. That is just bollocks.
