Marcos Lopes

Milner has played 37 games this season.
Navas 38.
Jovetic 25.

Lopes should replace one of those players, there is plenty of games here for him.

The time to start giving our youngsters a chance is NOW.

For me we should have 2 players in every position and should be playing a variation of 451/433 so would nee 2 central playmakers, 2 right sided wingers/forwards and the same for the left and 2 strikers with 1 of the 6 attacking midfielders doubling up as a 3rd forward.

---------------------------------------------Kun/Bony----------------------------------------------
---Bale/Dybala----------------------------------------------De bruyne/Navas-----
-------------------------------------------Silva/Lopes----------------------------------------------

This would be what id want Serling and Lacazette the other options, this would give us a lot of options to cover for injuries and play 2 games a week.

He sure is star quality at this point!

Busk kept Denmark in the game.

Does he look even more well built than at the start of the season? He'll fit in to the PL so well.

Without a doubt, his physique is rapidly developing towards something approaching Aguero's.

I can imagine he will be incredibly difficult to knock off the ball.

I'll be hoping for Portugal to pick him for their U21 squad at the U21 EM Championship in Prague this summer, i'll be heading there, might go watch Portugal a few times because of him.

Nobody who watched the game has come on so far & given a report of how he played over the 90 minutes, How did he play?

For anyone interested, here's the full match;

Posting from my phone, hope the video embeds properly. He may have lost the ball after that piece of skill but only after running 40 yards straight at the defence, good to see; something we lack, being direct like that.

The way he's built and the way he runs on the ball I can never shake the feeling he's very familar to Tevez, and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if in 3-4 years he ends up being known as a regular goal scorer if we keep him up the pitch.

He definitely seems to have hit the gym this season.

I like the Tevez comparison, whether he can be as good as him remains to be seen, but if he can then wow, we will have some player.

I miss Carlos.

I think its better to loan him again to Lille so he can play +30 games next season so he can develop instead of bringing him back.

I'd rather him play 20 games at City rather than 30 games at Lille. Dead on replacement for Jovetic.

Or Milner.

I think he is ready in my opinion and if given a good run in the team I can see becoming a regular.

It's navas who should leave actually. Still hope that we will keep Milner as he's a proper impact player who can go off the bench and make the difference (just like Dzeko whom we should keep to IMO), although James has not been that good recently :(.

Definitely agree Damo, I hope he gets his shot next season along with a few others

Just missed a top class sitter for the U21's, genuine miss of the season contender. Hopefully a gif will pop up at some point, as it was a beauty

Is he otherwise impressing?
He only came on for the second half, after playing the first half the other day. He's doing alright, but it's a strange looking team with him sort of playing up front and it's not really his game. Very hard to tell what this formation is tbh, but he's had some nice touches and surged away to start a couple of nice counter attacks

Thanks Oscar. He appears to be forming more of a consistent game, however, its a tough call regarding his future......do we bring him back and risk not giving him the minutes he requires or do we sanction another loan where he will play regularly and surely continue to develop?
