Mario or Edin?

I think both will play a similar amount of games over the season, which is right. But in the biggest games I'd rather see Mario as he has far better movement, pace and trickery. Sometimes Edin looks easy, or easier than Mario, to defend against. To be honest I think Mario will end up being a far superior player to Edin.

Definitely Mario. Dzeko will score you goals, and he's a good centre forward, but Mario has everything.

Every big game, Mario is the 1st player that i look for on the team sheet. The ultimate big-game player.

One word? Incomparable.

The two are totally different type of player.

Dzeko is your classic center-forward.

Mario is more technically sound and can be moved around more.

They are both great in their own way to me, and only thing that matters is that City has both :-)

The BEST thing is - these two really get along with each other. Since the get-go.

Like someone said:

Dzeko, Balotelli, and Aguero together have every striker treat possible :-) and I think this is just what the doctor (RM) ordered.

Need speed and workrate - no problem.
Need aerial threat and creativity - no problem.
Need finesse and shooting capability - no problem.

City fans are so lucky to have this trio. RM has a solution to every possible defence outthere with them three.

'tis.

With that threat upfront our team has soared like eagles to wit Silva & Milner.
Where once we were shackled by one-dimensional players now we have 2-way or multidimensional midfielders who can support in attack (contributing goals too) and defending in tandem.

As suggested in my previous post we are not anymore relying on one just one player to provide the goals or one dedicated m/f to hold or control the mid.

If Mario had been on the bench against BM I would suggest the outcome would have been different. BM would have to contend with him in their prematch strategy.

Likewise at OT, Mario opened the floodgates with his 2 goals and Edin drowned them, serendipitously, in utter humiliation with his brace.

Would that 'Seis in the City' have been possible without our 5 goals stroika and our conductor Merlin with 10 star performance by the team?
Clattenburg was too kind with his 3-min Fergipity ;)

Forza Manchester City!

Mario when he plays

Dzeko when he plays

Both can change a game and we are lucky to have such an array of talent.

Not really sure why we have to always compare, lets just be happy with what we have

Kind of a pointless thread - pinning those who have a soft spot for one against those who have a soft spot for the other - especially since both have a sizable following. Like I said, both are great in their own way and both will play, what else needs to be said.
