We still have six more games left.So by that token he has let the fucking club down big time,seeing he won`t be available for four of `em.

my ex-Arsenal playing mate called me on the telephone to tell me this story and I quizzed him on it because I felt it unlikely, so I thought I'd post it in here because someone else would surely know if there was a thread of anything in it...

I think it's safe to say that he isn't in hospital, and he's not been laid out or got a broken cheek bone, although I bet the dressing room wasn't a pleasant place to be.

I do think Stan Collymore and a lot of the media have overdone things quite a bit, and players like Raphael and Song go about doing all kinds of stuff in a game on a regular basis that Mario can't (not excusing his Kiev tackle or his foot on Song today) but anyway.

He makes mistakes, he's young, he can improve - but he's running out of chances, and today he certainly picked his moment to flame out again.

Bullshit, he would have gotten sent off earlier, he was lucky to escape. For the rest of the game, he was focusing on how to knock out Sagna.
