Mark Hughes' exit from Manchester City

they're a pro site. unlike vital-football etc they genuinely charge people for access to their premium database. doesn't mean they are doing anything more than reporting a second hand rumour in this case.

Although this seems a story with no foundation sadly. I fully expect a load abuse for expressing my opinion.

As an aside to this.

We have failed to beat Bolton, Burnley, Fulham, Birmingham, Hull and Wigan. I would like to know how many of the players from the aforementioned teams would get into our side. Bullard maybe, maybe not. Barry Ferguson, probably not. N'zogbia.

Not many I would guess. To draw with a couple of teams may be acceptable. But all five.

I rest my case mi lud. Hughes out
.

hear hear am with you on this! dont care what people think but iam in the "hughes out camp" have been for months now

rather than just instantly labelling the story as "bollocks" it might be worth waiting to see if any stories emanate from Abu Dhabi to back the claim up?

would seem extremely odd to quote "Reports in Abu Dhabi today have claimed...." just on a complete whim?

If results sour and the owners decide to give Hughes the bullet will you say that this article was ahead of its time?

Its not odd at all but it was probably actually concocted before the Arsenal and Chelsea games and given a the go ahead after the Bolton result.

We will know he has gone when the press are told by the club no sooner and no later should that occur and that includes the vast majority of managers in all leagues who have all experienced the flick many more than once.

Not a huge fan of Hughes either but how many times in the last 30 years have we beat Arsenal twice , Chelsea and drawn against Liverpool away and we still have to play all four again 2 of them at home in the league and one of them in the CC.

Just because there are no quotes does it mean the article is shit? Who knows.

Whether by shit you mean to suggest the article has some semblence of fact to it is like saying every manager is only x number of games from getting the chop which we all know is the case.

Outside stating the bleedin obvious ie stating nothing of any substance whatsoever and written in different formats hundreds of times since Hughes took over these articles are published in the main by people who have absolutely no connection to the owners least of all their thoughts.

If you can prove otherwise I would like to see your post but outside saying it may be true it may not which is the same as saying it might rain tomorrow in Sydney but then again it might not I doubt you can add to the thread.

Im not stating anything because of the way it ended up about 2 weeks ago. Speak with bluemanc, he knows the thread im on about. Im not saying another word on the matter cos i got a final warning for the way i conducted myself last time and im not gonna get into a big slanging match.
