I don't like the champions league but two good wins should see us favourites to go through. The group stages are like the early rounds of the league cup, get them out of the way then the competition starts properly.

Overall it was much better, we were allowed to completely control the tempo of the game and Marseille didn’t pose much of a threat in the break, though we did look much more organised, less exposed and calmer at the back.

Playing Rodri and Gundogan is going to have its critics, I actually thought they both played better tonight that may be the benefit of having KDB alongside them to give the ball to.

It was a very good result and we’re in real control of the group with four to play, but we still really lack a proper striker, despite the three goals tonight.
