Overall it was much better, we were allowed to completely control the tempo of the game and Marseille didn’t pose much of a threat in the break, though we did look much more organised, less exposed and calmer at the back.
Playing Rodri and Gundogan is going to have its critics, I actually thought they both played better tonight that may be the benefit of having KDB alongside them to give the ball to.
It was a very good result and we’re in real control of the group with four to play, but we still really lack a proper striker, despite the three goals tonight.
