Not sure you were watching the same Gundogen as everyone else or the one that you have already made your mind up about?

Already? The guy has been here for years. Its not like he rocked up 6 weeks ago and is struggling to adapt but is now finding his feet. He does ok against a turd Marseille side and all of a sudden, everyone on here thinks we are ok in that position. We have watched David Silva there for a decade, that is the level we want/need. Gundogan is no good at 8, I don't know how many times people need to see him struggle there, before just accepting it.

Who the fuck does Gündogan think he is? He should never score. And that Rodri with pace. Also Raheem and Mahrez FFS. Even Stones. They should not been doing this. Not controlling the game from the ko, nor play one-twos to split the Marseilleise defence for that 3rd goal, nor pass that thru the needle eye to Phil for our 2nd. They made the french side look pedestrian, this is outrageous. And how do they dare keeping a fucking clean sheet? No way Josep.

FFS Mahrez never play again for my club, hate your one-twos with KdB; and never want to see again that Gundo-Rodri midfield, nor Foden on the left wing. Walker-Rúben-Laporte snuffing and smothering every opposition goal intention, unacceptable.

I blame the board and management. Hire ten galácticos on the next window or face the sacking.

Good to see young Cole get on near the end. My son lives near him and knows him very well, from all accounts he is really dedicated and a great lad. Perhaps the academy is beginning to bare fruit?

Most comfortable that I have been watching us for ages. Many good performances but Kyle Walker is always a 7/10 or better at the moment. If we can keep both centre halves fit and get Ake back, we will be solid.

The third goal came after a 26 pass move, and there were other occasions when we kept the ball for a long time. I always feel a goal at the end of a long sequence of possession is a barometer of when we’re playing well.
