Easy as you like...hardly broke sweat. Not sure why none of the EDS didn't get on but pleased that Sergio and Sterling netted. Don't think Foden will be starting at the weekend after that and Bernardo has to accept he's nowhere near a start either. Defence looked solid but there again Marseille looked toothless. Anyway 16 points shows we've enjoyed a very efficient progress through the group stage.

Second half was so much better than the first and really enjoyed that. Some real positives like stones, Serg back and in the goals, sterling goal which will boost his confidence, Torres looked sharp again second half and overall we moved the ball much better second half. Bernardo still looks way off and foden didn’t have a great game, but overall that was better than I expected.

Because we have a fully fit senior squad and some players need games.
We learnt tonight that Laporte is ready , Sergio has his smile back and Fernandinho must be in serious contention for the weekend.

Oh , and we won 3-0 with yet another clean sheet.

Big takeaway tonight for me. Sergio back in the fold - massive for him tonight, confidence-wise. The boy is so important to us - frightens our opponents to death and breathes huge belief and confidence into the group (as they say)
