This is always a problem when you buy the older player, still, not to worry, just cram the middle of the park, Rodders , Lescott, Nasty and Boyata , stick Negredo up front, go route one and hey presto! The rags have been doing it for years.

I guess a 32 year old has more chance of being injured in general, still shitty luck - but I wish we had put more resources and priority into getting a top quality CB with a bit of pace, I think a top quality CB partner for Kompany is what we lacked last year, with Nastasic still not quite ready to be main man next to Kompany. Time will tell now if we are going to suffer for the lack of priority the club seem to have put into this position over the last 2 summers.
