Some of the gutless posters on here shitting themselves at playing fucking Stoke and the Scum at home should hang their heads.
Call yourselves City supporters.
Be assured we will find a way and give a very good account of ourselves in both these games.
I'm sure neither side is looking forward to playing us - injuries or not!
The way some of you go on you'd think we should be crapping ourselves in the tunnel because we're light on centre halves due to some very unfortunate injuries. You can't cover every eventuality but we'll have to make do. Stoke and United have greater worries and weaknesses than we do and their fans know it!

The fact is our CB situation cost us against Cardiff and nearly cost us against Hull. No one is being gutless just realistic based on recent facts. Given the way our defence has been in the last two games, what makes you so sure it will be a walk in the park against Stoke and the Rags?

Blue ste you are correct,it is a major concern and hiding from the fact does not improve it.

Re: Demichelis out - six weeks

The City gods are definitely trolling this forum.

If we take our chances we will beat Stoke.

If the crowd really gets behind the lads in the Derby then we have every chance of beating the rags too. Nasti and Lescott are both experienced international and hopefully Kompany will be back for the Derby.

Re: Demichelis out - six weeks

Take it as a blessing in disguise.

Not the place to go to for your debut.

Hopefully Pellegrini will play an extra one or two midfielders instead of forwards and we can get back to controlling games like we use to. Just give the players a chance.

HA! It's ok, Kompany will be back for the derby. Still confident we will get a win against Stoke.

Last time Yaya played centre-back against the rags he did quite well.

I've seen enough of Garcia at CB to know he shouldn't be back there. I expect Pellegrini to go with Lescott and Nastasic again. Would rather have Richards back there than Lescott.

Wtf? Seriously? Not on sky sports news or anything....

I thought they'd be all over this, gloating like fook with little smirks on their faces . Maybe they don't want to let it been known that our squad is weakened so we don't have excuses .

Garcia, like the rest, is fine alongside Kompany. The lack of leadership in defence is the issue when Kompany's out.

Re: Demichelis out - six weeks

Pace is more the issue. It wouldn't matter so much if away teams weren't give such ridiculous encouragement to attack us

There's no midfield protection. We've got Navas standing on the touchline and Aguero doing nothing up front

Remember that last season we had Tevez as a nominal forward and he effectively played in midfield much of the time, and we have also lost another central midfielder because we're now playing Navas. It's not looking good. I'm looking for a solid City line-up at Stoke.

Pellegrini has suddenly made us vulnerable. We've played plenty of games without Kompany before

Kompany is back after the international break. Everyone calm down and have a wank
Really, because that's not what anyone has been saying. After the International break we've got Stoke, Plzen, United, Wigan and Villa all before the end of September, and Kompany is likely to miss most if not all of those games. Hell, we've got Munich on 2nd October and there's no guarantee he'll be back for that either.
