As much as people are hammering him there's the other unrealistic view of him & the constant sycophantic garbage, he's good on the ball, he had a good game last week .... He's not good enough - too slow - rash - gets himself in some very awkward positions where he doesn't have any chance of recovering.
As a City fan I want him to do well but I have seen many times him proving to be a liability especially in big games...

The abuse on here over the last week or two was embarrassing.
For all the criticism he gets, he organised the back line superbly after Vinny went off.davymcfc said:Excellent performance yesterday. We were actually more organised once we were down to ten men.
Bluekiwi said:He was bought at the start of the season to fill a gap because Vinnie and Nasty were both injured. I know he has made some alarming mistakes recently but where would we be if he wasn't in the squad?
And Javi has grown into a better player with more game time. As a defensive duo today they did the job that was thrown at them with Vinnie's dismissal. No matter what people's personal opinions of these two players at least have the decency to give them credit for their efforts today. Leave the slagging to another game (if it is needed that is)
