I like the Villa forum, the way its laid out, seem's more organized than this one. Also having avatars helps,it makes it easier to differentiate between posters who all have similar usernames based on their club of choice,on here we have loads of city this city that, mcfc etc etc.

Would be too funny if it happened

From the BBC website:

Aston Villa players texted images of champagne bottles to each other to celebrate manager Martin O'Neill's exit - under a week before the new Premier League season starts.
Full story: Daily Mirror

The full story goes on about him losing the dressing room. Not sure exactly where this saying has come from, but it appears more and more when a manager leaves.

The end of last season, a month ago, or even a fortnight ago I might have understood, but five days before a new season!!!! If I were a Villa fan I'd be absolutely fuming, something has seriously gone wrong behind the scenes today, this will however most probably speed up the Milner deal.
On a side note on Villa talk one of there ITKs who does seem fairly respected, mentioned something about Garry Cook causing major shit for Villa, and that is part of all this. Probably bollocks.

Link? Would be interested to know what the rumours are surrounding Cook's involvement...
Cook's a Zulu so he'd love the chance to screw Villa.

Remember the lectures media commentators gave us when Hughes went citing the good relationship between Lerner oand O'Neill

Yes indeed - my thoughts entirely. Lerner in partic being held up as the owner from heaven - supportive; restrained; great relationship with manager; patient; all the things that City weren't.
As Granny would say on Catherine Tate - what a load of fu****g sh**!
