I think Palmer needs to go out wide in the second half.

It’s strange because whenever he’s played wide right he looks dangerous. Even that cross at the end came from him being there.

Yet whenever he’s in the middle he’s completely anonymous.

We’ll be top going into the World Cup break imo, safely through to CL knockout, and I’d predict the carabao last 8

We haven’t even hit 3rd gear and sitting pretty, no masking just typical city!

Our rhythm is nowhere near that of previous seasons. We need to improve imo. If that scenario plays out as you mention there, I think Pep’s overriding emotion will be relief tbh. Our performances are kind of deteriorating.

I know it’s a scratch team. It’s meaningless game and we’re spoilt generally.
