The Hitler-Mussolini axis worked better. Alvarez is getting unfair stick on the back of some of our worst performances for a couple of seasons.I am enjoying it quite a lot, drih weather, atmosphere inside the stadium doesn't look and sound bad. Pep is playing an interesting formation with almost the third string. We are battling it against another 5-3-2 this time, committed to defend so deep, the only thing really not working is Mahrez-Palmer axis, the latter being completely out of it with Mahrez hogging the ball. And why blaming Alvarez when no ball is coming his way from those supposedly providing a through ball.
We were through by the time we wiped the floor with the 3 other teams after the first round of games. The disappointment here is that as it stands we will have the 2nd worst record of the top teams in terms of points, the same as Spurs who have been poor and squeaked through last night.
We've completely switched off since qualification and sleep walked into the next round, playing as if it was a friendly match.
A tad dissapoinring.
And that includes the line up :)-Our post match highlights are down to 30 seconds recently.
Jesus ChristWe have become boring mate, whether people like to hear it or not. Only recently I may add
Playing Palmer next to Mahrez is ridiculous, both trying to occupy the same areas and making the same runsGive them another half! I think they'd be better if our full backs stayed wide.
Grealish has been one of the bright spots. So unless you’re one of those who are not gonna give him a chance regardless then I think that’s extremely harsh.Like isn't a dead rubber a perfect game where Grealish can show he's not in the team to be a btec Nasri and actually show what he can do.... or is it all just deflecting and he actually is out of his depth?
