Not just this game , but the amount of times we lose the ball in midfield at the moment is worrying.....dawdling and trying to turn when in no space.

We'll get through this, but need to be smarter.

That first goal someone in the defensive line needs to come out and challenge when they see Grealish isn’t keeping up with him. The second goal, Akanji is just completely stitched up. What is he doing there.

I think it shows that City have played twice since Madrid last had a game.
It doesn’t at all. It shows we have fuck all control
In a midfield that’s killing us. Rodri Kev and Gundo 12 months ago to Rodri Kovacic and non existent Phil so far and it’s killing us. We need to be so much better.

We are so painful to watch at times. I get we need to be careful of their pace but we are giving it back to them anyway passing it at snails pace. The reluctance to have a crack or pass it quicker is frustrating. They look vulnerable at the back
One of their counteracts came from a blocked Grealish shot in the box. That could have been an equaliser for us.

He really isn’t. He’s moving a lot and making runs in behind, and honestly most strikers would’ve given up even doing that after months of barely any service.
He's had at least 4 1v1 vs Rudiger that if he beats the duel we are left with a very favorable situation. He lost them all. There are moments when you see all our players pressing, and he is barely making an effort, almost to the point of walking.

move quicker, pass quicker, dont hold onto the ball is what can hurt Real here. too much sideways is making Ancelotti happy imo...
Rudiger is tested more by weak shit lower table La liga strikers than vs Haaland so far this is nonsense...
