Dinho had just turned 28 when we signed him.

Literally 12 months difference.

But in the grand scheme.....its still not over the hill,as some are making out.

And we got nine incredible seasons out of Dinho - I think if we got five at a decent level out of Kovacic it would probably be considered a very successful signing!

So according to you he is class, but just not in either of the current teams he plays in?

I think he's alright but I'm not really that excited if we sign him.

Hopefully if we do, he will turn out to be a good signing.

He's a class act and technically very very tidy. He can play 6 or 8, but importantly, if we lose Bernado, he too is a player who is very difficult to dispossess and can take the ball under pressure.

I‘ve watched the guy. He is technically average player. Laporte can do better than him with the ball.
