If Liverpool sign De Ligt their defence would be incredible. Best in the world. Robertson, Van Dijk, De Ligt, Alexander-Arnold. That would have everything. If we can’t sign him, I’m praying Barca get him.
Just a reminder Llorante made a mockery of him just last week.

I can’t see De Ligt signing for us as long as he’s associated with Mino Raiola. I’ll be very surprised if he ends up anywhere other than Barca.

Liverpool have proved with VVD and Alison they will just pay the fee, if he's the man they need, whatever the cost. De Ligt looks the "real deal". Our policy seems to be to convince the player to come for the project, rejecting other clubs and hopefully pay a reduced fee.I think VVD would have come to us no problem mate if we would have paid the fee? Can’t see the dippers paying another £70m for a CB though.
