Makes me laugh when I read that the tight timescales might now be a problem in allowing the deal to be concluded. If thats the case why the fuck didnt we start negotiations sooner, wev'e had a month FFS.

Mariga set for City switch

Parma’s McDonald Mariga will join Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City, sources in the peninsula claim.

The Kenyan midfielder is seen as a rising star in the Italian game and he’s apparently caught the attention of the Premiership side.

Although the 22-year-old’s next club is expected to be City, it is uncertain whether he will leave in January or at the end of the season.

It’s also unclear at this stage what sort of fee is involved, but it is understood that City will try to get Valeri Bojinov included in the deal.

The Bulgarian striker is currently on loan at the Tardini from the Manchester outfit.

Should Mariga leave immediately then it is claimed that Parma could target Udinese midfielder Gaetano D’Agostino.

The Italian remained at the Stadio Friuli in the summer after his expected move to Juventus collapsed over his asking price.

Manchester City is closer to the purchase of Jérôme Boateng (21), Germany defender of Hamburger. he player could come in the Premier League for a figure of around 8 million.
