In my life I've read some crap, but not half as much as some of the crap written about how important these gospel spreading friendlies are and how vital it is to win them, if we are to go on a get a top 4 finish and silverware.
What utter bollocks, seriously some people should be embarrassed by what they have written.
No Given, Barry, De Jong, Silva, Boetang, Kolarov, Tevez, or Yaya. In the middle of hard core training conditions, against Sporting who have had 8 games and who begin the europa league next week and a home team who are in the middle of their season. With a bunch of sprogs and virtually no central midfield aginst a team that under normal officialdom whould have been down to 8 players by the end. Yes, yes of course its been a disaster and our season is now over.
