Media bias against City

To be honest, us beating Bournemouth isn't exactly headline grabbing stuff, regardless of Sterling scoring a hat trick. Now, next weekend will be different, and we will be headline news - whether it will be good or bad is down to the manager and players.
Why is City beating Bournemouth less of a story than Arsenal beating Watford or Chelsea beating Villa? We are leading the table.

I'm not one for media bias but there is currently not one headline or byline reference to our match or Sterling's hat trick on the SSN main page... Their lead story is—I am not joking—that Sanchez starred in the match that took Arsenal second. The second tier stories are about United and Chelsea and the bylines are again about Chelsea and Arsenal.
The Aresenal game was their live game so they'll continue to advertise the fact. All SSN do advertise.

If things continue in this way Arsenal will be this years candlepool, everyone will want them to win it for the 'good' of football. Chelsea is a story because they actually won a game.

If Arsenal beat Everton next Saturday the media will be gushing over them for going top, followed by wishful thinking all round urging the rags to overtake them after playing us.

When we batter the scum next week it will still be all about united this, united that, how they were the better team, rooney was world class etc, etc, etc,

Just seen this belter from The Star:

Don't know the way the scum set up(defensively) if we don't take the chances we always make could end up a draw, take our chances we could win by 2/3 goals 2-2 or 1-3 but if referee has a stinker and bends over for the scum they could end up beating us

The guy is a rag who writes for a comic that appeals to the bar room bore who hasn't got a thought of their own.
Ray Ansbro lives in Heaton Moor I believe so, being from Stockport, he must be a City fan. ;-)

I notice he doesn't mention Chelsea in that article and I bet he's not printed anything insulting about Abramovich or his money. Presumably he knows what the outcome would be if he did.
