Even if we get one, we'd appeal, so it would be suspended until the appeal is heard (or goes to CAS), if we think its a 2 window ban if the appeal fails, we could easily spend that amount this summer to fill all our requirements.

Plenty of evidence that players are already very aware of competition for places. This doesn't add to that.

I think City have sent out the message load and clear to clubs and players in the last 3 windows that we won't be paying silly money to strengthen the team.

Maybe he wants this current crop of players to hear this news, for a final push towards the end of the season. I think he's slightly concerned performances are dropping recently, and this mystery signing might get the players thinking.

You know what, ffs, I am extremely happy with everything our manager is doing and the way he is doing it, it won’t make a quids worth of difference to the price of players several months hence, and the fact you are getting mardy arsed about it, doesn’t make a blind bit of difference, ffs
