If we win it by one point they are still gonna go on about liverpool being a breath away and what a great season they had, and in reality are also worthy champions

Won't matter if we do the domestic trebble the liverpool guff will still be headline news.

No point worrying about it, the record books will tell the story once shote newspaper opinion pages have been forgotten.
I don't worry about it just get frustrated by the lack of respect shown to something I love. When we won in 2012 it was despite Mancini and then Ferguson put us back in our box. 2014 was because of Gerrard's slip. Last year despite 100 points we can't be considered great until we win it twice. Then this year Liverpool deserve it no matter what we do

Than again Liverpool can still win the Chimps League.

Ok, sorry I said that.

Also happy to see/hear Pep's reactions to Ole's scandalous claims of cynical fouls. Would've preferred something stronger but I think the message was clearly delivered

Don't think he was biased at all. It was the shinny 2-1 derby and he said after the game that there wasn't much in it. This was against the Sky narrative who were in full on granny shagger tug off mode.

He then said he believed it wouldn't be long until we went to the swamp and gave them a good pasting based on what he had witnessed that day and what happened the very next season at the swamp? We fucking scored 6 and Sky's arse fell out.

Sky set the tone and tell people what to believe. Their 'pundits' are made up of gormless zombie ex United and Liverpool players who listen to an ear piece (which probably has to remind them to breath) and when someone goes off narrative you can tell the other pundits are thinking 'holy shit, what do I do now?' because they can't even hide the shock from their dumb arse faces.
Triple like from me.......

OGs.we tickle ankles(tactical s fouls)Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

And for once the BBC coverage points out United's fouls, bookings and red cards in this area of the pitch is far worse than ours....

It's obviously desperation from Ole to make these sort of claims to pressure the officiating but in the bigger picture & on a professional level it is disrespectful and I can only hazard a guess that Guardiola saw it this way as well

BBC News just now
"Huge game at Old Trafford tonight, big chance for Manchester United to earn a Champions League place
Manchester City need to win to keep the pressure on Liverpool..."
MUTV/Toxteth Taproom aka BBC Sport working overtime with their roving rag Slimey Stone now straplining City a 'tactical fouling team' in the online preview

Of all the things Simon Stone has written we can complain about, that article really isn't one of them.

Anything that City-hating cretin writes about us is by definition saturated with rag poison.

I didn't say he was my bestie, I said there was nothing wrong with that article. It gets a bit much where absolutely everything is slated irrespective of content. Save it for the stuff that deserves it maybe?

Nothing wrong? Cue link to

"The Norwegian has warned his players to be ready for City's "pressing" and 'aggression'. They will snap at your ankles and heels and kick you," said the 46-year-old. They will not allow us easy counter-attacking. There will be fouls. No doubt about it because they commit so many players forward and will be stopping us as high as they can."
"In November, Guardiola was given a formal warning by the Football Association for speaking about referee Anthony Taylor before the previous Manchester derby at Etihad Stadium, which City won 3-1"
"Guardiola has previously denied accusations he tells his teams to commit 'tactical fouls' to halt opposition counter-attacks."

You probably will like the 'nice' Hattenstone sewage in the Guardian recommended earlier as well.

"City learned the hard way. They endured 35 years of pain – not winning a single trophy while United swept up everything in front of them. ... they endured prolonged periods of misery in the lower tiers of the Football League and United fans were merciless in skewering their unfortunate local rivals. At Old Trafford a ticker banner was unfurled every other week that catalogued City’s trophy-less spell....Since City have been endowed with Abu Dhabi’s riches it’s become more difficult for United fans to maintain the supercilious grins we’ve been wearing for the past two decades. But we still try. Despite the riches, the new stadium, world class players, record-breaking seasons and being treated to arguably the world’s best manager, City still can’t fill their ground. Every game features empty seats peppered around the Etihad, prompting rival fans to coin “Emptyhad” to encapsulate City’s phantom home support.
