We let those rags off on Saturday. Never again please. An impartial var and referee would have given both penalty appeals. Absolutely stonewall.
There's plenty more where that came from. I stopped looking forward to games against the rags after that fuck up at the etihad. We were supposed to win the title in front of them and some how we completely fucked that situation up losing 3-2.

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but Henry Winter's 'whistle report': Ten Haag outwitted Pep, traditional Utd, Utd's proper fans helping, Ten Haags day, a seething Pep, a great symbol of Man Utd defiance.

Ten Haag the managerial genius, up there with the greats - based on one game.

Once again no objectivity in reporting. This was a great result for Utd fans but for Ten Haag it was a one off as was shown by previous results against City in the league, and the league in general - they finished 8th. They beat a tired, worn out City side that had just fought of a Liverpool side which had been talked up as winning the quad and one of the best Arsenal sides we've seen in years. A city side that had used everything they had to get over the line then where asked to get back up again only a few days after going on the piss.

A great result for the fans but if Chelsea had beaten us in the semis Utd would most likely be runners up.

For years after the 68 league championship win the newspapers would periodically state how this achievement was overshadowed by the rags European Cup win. They would scoff and sneer and with a metaphorical grin, would write with glee how it took us so long to win the league only to be surpassed by them. With this in mind whatever the result on Saturday the vile press would never admit that the rags had been surpassed. They wouldn't recognise that they played in the Spirit of Mourinho and a player with a head like sock puppet got lucky to score their first goal. The new breed of City fan has their own 68 equivalent to deal with but luckily have many eloquent and intelligent fans to fight their corner.

Yes it will smart for a while that one. We had one of the worst refs out there but we also played one of our poorest games of the season. The players will deny it but they went into that game thinking it would be a stroll. A derby never is. We say our two central defensive changes cost us but they had Martinez and Varane, two players who'd hardly kicked a ball for months. Their first choice left back Shaw was missing too. Even Johnny fucking Evans came on and had Haaland in his pocket. A bad day at the office all round.

Agreed although Erling hit the bar and got two penalties in truth. Shit defending. Back four all over the place until Akanji came on. Very frustrating.

One thing I noticed before the match on Saturday with both sets of fans chanting at each other, “City’s won 4 in a row……., with 4 fingers held up, stooped their chants stone dead, or the United fans looked away.

As for the red shirt football media. We know, the club knows, Pep knows, and the players know City will never ever get the credit they deserve for dominating English football over the last decade.
