BBC giving it large about Web saying our goal should not have stood,he also said Wolves should have been given a pen last minute at the swamp but no mention on the Salford rag based Beeb, coonts

Yes he was offside but wasn't interfering with play, that's according to the actual rules (whether you like them or not), so it was a good goal. I have no idea why you keep trying to prove otherwise or why you keep bringing up Rashford's goal which was entirely different and very obviously interfering with play.
Because it was offside.

The vast majority of people know it. Your mental gymnastics are on the United scale of denying that the rashford one wasnt offside. Which they do.

You wanted a quote from Webb & when you get one, it makes no difference as it’s only his opinion? Lol

If you don’t think jumping out of the way of a ball when you’re 3-4 yards in front of a keeper isn’t making an obvious action & doesn’t impact on Leno diving late (which is EXACTLY the point, nothing moot about it), then I think we have different opinions on what an obvious action is

Here’s the law again mate, with regards to interfering with play making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball

Is it open to interpretation? Yes

However, is it a fact that Akanji jumped, which is an obvious action? Yes

Is it also a fact that Leno dived too late, due to Akanji being offside? Yes
(which you have acknowledged in an earlier post:

(As a top level keeper Leno should know Manu couldn't play the ball therefore if he is blaming his slow reaction on Akanji's position it's his own fault.)

Those are the valid reasons it’s offside in my opinion bud.

How are you interpreting the law so as it’s allowed?

Are you saying Akanji jumping isn’t an obvious movement or are you saying Leno wouldn’t have saved it if Akanji wasn’t there as he still would’ve dived as late & conceded the goal?
I am saying Akanji jumping is a successful attempt to get out of the way, he did not attempt to play the ball, block the line of site of or impede the keeper.
Had he not jumped and the ball had touched him, the goal is disallowed so what is he supposed to do?
If Leno didn't think Akanji was offside, why the hysterical reaction?
If he did why make a belated attempt to save the ball?
Leno is a professional footballer paid thousands of pounds a week so should know the laws.
By the way I didn't say Akanji was offside, I said he was stood in an offside position and there is a difference.
If I'm "interpreting" the law and the goal shouldn't stand, why no apology from Webb and why no official complaint from Fulham?
Wolves received an apology and Forest made an official complaint.
I've asked this numerous times but still not had a response so I will answer that one myself.
The goal was a legitimate and legal goal under the current rules, everything else is white noise.
