- The process not being specific enough, even though it was the clubs not PL management who made that decision.
- Colluding with City to quash the 115 charges.

- FFP existing (brought in by the clubs 5 years before Masters joined)
- FFP unravelling
- Enforcing rules
- Not enforcing rules
- Commenting on a confidential arbitration.
- Not being allowed to speak about the same confidential arbitration.
- VAR (literally nothing to do with him)

And as usual comments are moderated, the same as the piece lower down by that fucking herbert Herbert comparing the Post Office scandal to the Hillsborough cover up. In my time zone, 8hrs ahead, comments won’t appear until our afternoon but I can tell you now with no doubt exactly how and in which direction each pieces comments will be heavily moderated. What pisses me off the most is that with the press and their Neanderthal followers we are always guilty before innocent and it seems the PL played on those hostile feelings towards us with their release of all the charges. Compare that to the press and the dippers, where in every written article since the Sun got their fingers burned, the dippers behaviour that day has been totally airbrushed from existence and the blame place solely on the police force. Most comments to the contrary will never see the light of day.

I think Masters has been naive & has been burnt. I actually felt he conducted himself well yday. I thought the panel were unprofessional & the questions were a disgrace.

The ONLY thing that headline tells the reader is that Holt is absolutely not a journalist, because he doesn’t have the basic facts down, but someone looking for eyes and clicks from everyone who hates City.

I have some sympathy with the view that the level of secrecy is ridiculous. They wouldn't even confirm there was an investigation for four years. I don't see the issue with talking what is happening without giving away details of the case.

The rest of his articles are uninformed bullshit, of course, but on secrecy I can see his point.

why in the name of god would either the pl or city be at the behest of a tabloid journalist who cant even understand the basic tenet of what our charges entails nevermind the legal machinations of how they are proven or disproven as i said before the print media these days is just an echo chamber for morons

In my defence, I didn't say either party should be at the behest of any journalist. But you have to admit the secrecy around everything the PL does is a breeding ground for suspicion and accusation. In this case in particular, it isn't doing either the PL or the club any favours.

Interesting that in the Mail today Herbert’s piece shoehorning Hillsborough into the Post Office saga on establishment cover ups an miscarriages of justice. Same publication Oliver Holt is asking the question why the Premier League are tiptoeing round City and they should just throw the book at us and not waste anymore time on it. Isn’t hurrying up justice and not doing things by the book the reason why this post office scandal has happened and the people involved have had to fight for decades to clear their name?

What’s the correct method to proceed then British media when it comes to City? City have a right to a fair trial just as much as those post masters do right through to the very worst serial killers do. Isn’t that justice?

It's not secrecy though, it's privacy agreed to by all 20 clubs and the PL itself.

okay say we put our accounts out there for public consumption, do you think it would change anything? Do you think the vitriol would subside, do you think opposition fans would be more or less angry, whatever we say or do will make absolutely zero difference to the angry little mob of vocal dippers, rags, tarquins et al who just want to blame us for their clubs being badly run so fuck them, they dont deserve to know.
 
If you look at the press, they need us to be guilty, they need it because the idea that their little red friends who have been propping them up for years are dying a slow death just like their medium cant be true, the print media just like the red clubs are dinosaurs who absolutely refuse to catch up with the world and jut like always instead of trying to be better they just bring the best down to their level, have you not noticed that its the same old reporters spouting the same old shit? where is the new blood, where are the young reporters with fresh views and different viewpoints? they dont exist because just like most people under 30 they couldnt give a shiny shite about the print media and what some fecking idiot in the daily mail and the guardian have to say and if you think it doesnt matter to them imagine how little it matters to people across the rest of the world. It just doesnt as i have said multiple times the print media these days is no better than rawk or sad caf, or any social media platform, its just an echo chamber with the same morons shouting the same things loudly and that is the problem with social media and the print media, you can say any old dumb, random shit you like and you WILL find people who will agree with you, the problem with that is that it doesnt make you right it just means you have found people just as stupid as you are and until people understand that, the cycle eill repeat itself until they burn themselves out.

Media don’t seem to understand that it’s not City who are “dragging” this out - we’re not the ones that have to prove the case. It’s the PL who have to prove we’re guilty & they are the ones taking their time. Why don’t the idiotic media get this?? Also, why don’t they begin to wonder why the PL aren’t finding it easy to “punish” us? They won’t acknowledge that the PL haven’t been able to find us guilty.
