That's what people were saying about Zaba, Ferny, Vinnie, Sergio, Yaya, David etc. Think we have done ok replacing all these players
I wouldn't say we've directly replaced any of them, certainly not immediately. We've evolved to use other skillsets and adjust tactics accordingly. Fully expect pep to be dipping his toes in the red sea on his holibobs letting that football brain of his come up with his next invention for next season that'll leave the players thinking wtf during the first pre season training session and then get working on mastering it.

Over two seasons yes, but we stuttered in each position the following year when we lost each Star. I d disagree on your point.

I think the power of our squad depth kept us sound along with Peps magic.

I see another wanky yanky this time the Bournemouth owner having a go at city being state owned and they can’t compete. Wants a salary cap and next no relegation.

These fucks won’t stop until they have ruined English football.

City are owed by an individual from Abu Dhabi you wankstain!!!

Americans and their big mouths…

He s got 5 titles and not even hit his prime yet. As long as he keeps his shape and fitness levels high he will be one of the greatest.
He was the best player on the pitch more often than not but that was 2/3 seasons ago. We really need him to get back to that. He will I am sure - with the right adjustments he's the perfect gundo replacement imo - if there was such a thing.

Another liar who wants to line his own pockets. The article includes the totally false comment that "78 per cent of Manchester City is owned by Abu Dhabi's Sovereign Wealth Fund." Just more fake news and the English hacks are, as usual, happy to publish without checking the facts. Not even a cursory check on Google.

Anyone that thinks the American owners (mostly, all though I can't think of a purely benevolent one) are interested in football and not just the money, need to give their head a wobble.

The name's Foden, Phil Foden...
Stepping into his best (imo) position of sort-of inside left...
Pep has already started to play Phil inside. It is time he was given the opportunity to develop, establish himself and realise his potential..

Gundo's first two years were underwhelming until he transformed into Mr Whippy. He will be remembered as a City great but Pep and co are looking ahead and age is not on Gundo's side. The move to Barca will prolong his playing career in a pleasant environment, add to his pension fund and add to his experience of playing in another major league should he decide to move into coaching/management.
