first time a english team has won 4 titles in a row and we are being accused of boring the league etc and being less competitive.

Alright when its just Liverpool, Arsenal or United winning everything all the time.

I seem to remember that when Arsenal hired Arteta, they went about it in a pretty underhanded manner (middle of the night, no pre-notice to City, right after they had played us and lost at the Etihad). But, of course the press never refers to that just as they never remember about Liverpool's hacking case either.

One of my customers,a really lovely lady, told me she lived in the same village as Monty Don
Apparently one day in a local store, someone greeted him with “Hello Monty” to which he replied “it’s Montgomery. And it’s Mr Don to you”

The simple facts are, forget spending money, the main thing we have spent is the last 2 decades planning, working, putting the effort in to make our club World class. Others spent that time treading water, some (united) much more than others. Now they've all realised just how far behind they are, so rather than try to catch up the simple option is to just clip wings.

CFG doesn’t act like feeder clubs though, we don’t get players cheap from other members in the group, it’s about the brand “City” a NYC fan is likely to support Man City now as their
European team etc.
