Media persecution of Raheem Sterling

You see Ali and lingard weee poor why you not sub them?

Do you sub every poor player? No, if you can actually see it with balance the post you quoted was right, it was a like for like sib. Simple as that.

Easier to be less worried about losing the ball when you haven't got the whole country wishing you to fail.

Yeah that must have been all he was thinking about as he missed another open net.

I would have subbed Ali because he was injured and couldn't run . I would expect any manager to sub an injured player if he had players available to him

The clamour in England for Rashford to start ahead of Sterling is not too dissimilar to the calls for Jesus to be dropped for the plucky Liverpool forward Firmino..

Rashford and sterling are totally different players why Southgate subbed sterling for him is baffling lingard is the one who should come of because he was appalling and nearly cost us the match missing 2 sitters.

A managerial nightmare. In a tournament with so many potential games, to keep an I injured player on the field. This should be the main talking point of the evening.

I know the feeling, was in my local night and there were some female regulars in who know the sum of fuck all about football. They were supporting England in the way some women do, you know the ones, high pitched screeching that fucking grates. The rag blokes started slagging off Sterling with a few snidey comments and fuck me the female fraternity were slagging Raz, it's sickening and just shows how hatred can spread from a few dick heads like Tom and his ilk. BTW, I don't see all female football fans in the same light.
Saved yourself at the end there, lol,you are right he will never get a fair shot playing for england, lucky he has pep and us to pick him back up

Sterling had a decent first 30 mins yesterday then lost his way a bit. Thought Rashford did well off the bench, more direct and less worried about losing the ball.

Should definitely start v Panama though - hopefully bag and then that will boost his confidence.

Good job he's not worried about losing the ball!! Does it most times he passes it!
