Listening to 5 live his morning about 8.55 they had a sports update with the opening line along the lines of...

''lets finish with a downer and ask is the Premier League title race already over following Manchester united dropping points against West Brom?''

And concluded with a comment from some bird that it isn't necessarily over as there's still the possibility of injuries (presumably she meant to City players)

Nice of them to basically hope for injuries to sportsmen and I wonder if it would be the same negative narrative over the tile race if it was either of the red teams that were 7 points clear with a game in hand.

Should be cued at the relevant point...

Yeah, imagine if we lost large numbers of key players for long parts of the season due to illness and injury, we wouldn't be doing half as well.

KDB
Aguero
Ederson
Jesus
Laporte
Walker
etc, etc, etc.

We're a squad, not a first xi.

Kielty is a plastic rag, no surprise there.
As for them lot praying for City injuries to make up for their own ineptitude, theyve got previous for that with Pogba

1 year since that slimeball rob harris smirked his way through this interview. He got all the snide digs in there:

We should have been banned with the first FFP breach
"Alleged deception"
"State aided funding"
Manchester City have never won a Euorpean cup
The future of the club, guardiola and players is in doubt

Bet he was giving it the big one in the whatsapp group before he did this interview saying he was gonna get these snide digs in, with Miggy and that freak Mackenna ski-ing each other right off over it.

Who'd have thought that a few months later we'd be completely exonerated, and a year later we'd be 8 points clear with a game in hand at the top of the prem again romping home towards another title. They thought it was all going to fall apart, they thought we were done, bless them

Up the fucking blues

There is now a realisation that City is here to stay. We are the benchmark for quality football and results without resorting to VAR, diving and more. It is a growing recognition by supporters of all other clubs as well as increasing acknowledgement in the media about the quality of the Manchester City players and coaches, apart from the usual suspects, trolls and shills.

By the end of November the Agenda was spouting on about how we were found out as a mid-table team who had scored less goals than those above us with a leaky defence – in spite of our record and strikers being injured plus having played two less games than some others. Now we are top of the league and favourites for all competitions.

City bingo is starting to wane in the media apart from player spend. Already we are seeing positive articles on Manchester City. Still no credit to Pep for rebuilding an old side he inherited to a young side whilst still winning trophies and now set to dominate for years to come.

In the Premier League Liverpool, Arsenal, United and Chelsea all grew on the backs of investment and returns from success, especially the Champions League that made top four so important. Everton and Tottenham did not invest enough and fell behind.

Arsenal believed stadium revenues were the key having the wealthy London corporates and individuals on their doorstep. Tottenham followed the same stadium development path. City with CFG generate revenues through results, media exposure and sponsorship.

City are now the team to beat and every success means less revenue for the others whilst City continues on an upwards trajectory. The MSM is already dying so to ignore the growing City support is suicide.

FFP was the last throw of the dice to stop City and now we see UEFA proposing a new league to pander to the history clubs. Let them fail and drop to their third division through debt and allow new clubs and their fans to come through like Leicester, Lille, Leipzig, Atalanta and Real Sociedad.

Well the rags are live on the BBC in the cup again. Who'd have thunked that?
Tbf it is probably the tie of the round. This time. It's the 6000 occasions they've ignored far better ties that need questioned.
