Rather than attack their darlings. It looks like open season on unsettling Foden.
Harry Kane dived and cheated to try and get a penalty against Wolves towards the end of the match.
The commentator, can't remember his name, flagged it up, and said the football authorities needed to take action against this increasing behaviour.
My point. He couldn't bring himself to say, *Harry Kane has just tried to get a penalty by cheating and diving*.
When was the last time your heard a commentator say that about a player? They are too scared to say it as it is. They are too worried about upsetting the player, the manager, the club, and getting hauled in by their bosses.

Hey Frank, suggest you read the Twitter posts, they were fair and were not personal or nasty. At least he should think about what he saysGenuinely is any of that good? Chasing a 66 year old bloke around twitter insulting him.
I thought he commentary was decent last night, yes people have pointed out him mentioning the price of players, which arguably is a fair point, but I don't get the insults and its unlikely to endear the club to him for future commentaries.

Can’t agree the commentary was good, ignoring the digs about cost of our players, the guy just spurts out numbers and facts about players based on when they touch the ball he is not a Barry Davis who used silence as effectively as his words Darke drones on and competes with boring Hoddle for the most annoying voice.Genuinely is any of that good?
