He couldn’t be more wrong. Never any respect from him. IMO Baconface caused more trouble than anyone else ever involved in the Manchester derby. He deliberately rubbished us to wind us up and usually it worked. Fair play to Mancini, he wasn’t taking any rubbish from the bully.

‘Not in my lifetime’. Yeah, ok.
Completely agree, treated us with contempt. Does Micah not remember the mocking banner. Loved how Mancini didnt fawn over him like many other managers.

Classic guardian football weekly yesterday covering Tuesday nights games.
City coverage lasted about a minute.

Lars Silvertsen: City were brilliant, Foden was brilliant but no point discussing the financial disparity between the teams cos we've discussed it so often previously. Credit to City because they've used their resources well compared to PSG very well
Gledenning: Bruges total wage bill just £18 million. About the same as KDB.... blah blah

Same old same old.....
They really are a bunch of pricks on that Pod.

Who will the media back in the Dublin derby on Sunday, imagine they are hoping for a high scoring draw so they can blow smoke up both teams arses.
El Plastico where middle class wannabes from Weston super mare and Chipping Sodbury shout nursery rhymes at each other about how irrelevant City are.

What you really have to understand about the rags and pretend scousers are the majority of them have no ties to either city and jumped onboard when they were annual winners.
Unfortunately them days are long gone with no sight of returning so completely goes against their winners only mentality.
Its like saying last season I supported City in the premiership and carabao Leicester in the FA cup and Chelsea in the champions league and of course the majority of journalists are exactly the same not one piece of unbiased work just absolute shite chasing clicks.

From Keegan onwards Ferguson couldn't treat us with contempt, the last Maine Rd derby and the first Etihad derby were followed by some good wins for us. He obsessed about Liverpool as we were no threat to his trophy haul but that changed under Bobby, the 1 0 Vinny inspired win in 2012 meant he had no choice but to respect us. Though we always gave him dogs abuse( aye, aye , aye aye Ferguson's riddled with herpes) when he was genuinely seriously ill we showed support for him. Doubt the rags would for anyone at our club.

Luke Kelly he could really get hold of a song and project it. The best Irish singer of his generation, IMO, such a sad loss.
Yes, he was special. I saw The Dubliners with Kelly at the Free Trade Hall back in the 60'S. It was during "The Troubles" and I had to run a bit of a gauntlet of anti-Irish sentiment. This particular song left a big impression on me.

They were big friends of Terry and Cath who ran the Circus Tavern in town and always visited and mentioned them on stage when in Manchester. The last time I saw them was about 15 years ago at The Lowry in Salford and they still mentioned The Circus, and Cath and Terry were in the audience both now dead sadly. Paddy Reilly did most of the singing that night and we all had a drink after the show.

Amazing singer with perfect clarity, shame he passed so young.

Think the semi final win at Wembley in 2011 was when they realised we were a threat to them.

I remember driving back from Cornwall the day before the Sven home derby the next day. I think I managed to read every newspaper during a couple of stops at the services. The papers were full of Baconface slagging us off. He really stuck the knife in and I’m convinced the violence the next day had been fuelled by the deliberate comments he felt needed to be said. He didn’t care about that.

Proper nasty piece of work. I’m so happy he’s alive to see our success.

I'm old enough to have been around during the Mercer v Busby days. Both absolute gentlemen, they got on well and always showed great respect for each other. Both had great success without bullying, snarling, making snide comments and generally mouthing off. Despite my total enmity towards United, I didn't particularly dislike Busby, but I always despised Ferguson. A horrible, aggressive, conniving, tyrannical, devious, degenerate toss-pot and the human personification of the contents of septic tank.
As I once heard my local Indian table waiter say to a customer "May the fleas of a thousand camels infest his armpits"
