Just heard that semi pro legend gabby agbonlohor saying the ref was card happy trying to set a record for most cards and favoured city
Cluelessness
Arsenal 3 yellows Saka (should have actually had two more), Xhaka, Gabriel
1 red Gabriel - nailed on
City 2 yellows rodri and Bernardo - both correct and worth it
Amazing how they ‘think’ something when clearly wrong

FFS
Not clear is an understatement
Odergard actually trod on Ederson!!!!
Apparently, intentionally placing your ankle under a players boot is a red card and penalty offence. Then again, perhaps Holt is just recovering from the excess of new year's eve and will review it again once he sobers up.

Where has Fabregas been hiding for x amount of years?

Perhaps they asked Arsene but he didn't see it.

The Sunday Torygraph this morning goes with "Arsenal denied a penalty"! As the 'penalty' never existed in the entire history of the universe just how could anyone be denied a non-existent entity? Methinks the Arse lads and coaching staff, along with the pillock who wrote that, should be sent on a simple course in logic before the next fixture.

My ERO (Philosophy and French, Sheffield 94-97) tells me that you can be denied summat that doesn't exist!
Correct
If the penalty had been overturned by VAR in could understand the arse being upset
Fact is it was NEVER awarded or clearly a penalty!
It’s not that difficult to understand really Even Wright and Dublin managed to understand that so not doing so is clearly evidence of bias
Cunts!

It makes me laugh all this outrage on two totally correct decisions. Neither of them are our fault we don't make the decisions the ref and var do. What the wankers are trying to do is draw that much attention to it all that the refs in future games will be shit scared to give us anything for fear of getting a pasting. Their tears are making my day so much better. Here's the final word. Arsenal and the crying media one, Manchester City two.

The BT commentators said at the start that everybody but City fans wanted Arsenal to win, and the media reflect this today. However, Ian Wright of all people and the Match of the Day panel agreed with both penalty decisions and the stupidity of Gabriel. So media bias will always favour the underdog, unless the underdog happens to be playing a London club or Liverpool, or of course Man untied.

Interesting point on 5 Live last night that I haven't seen any other pundits discuss so far -- they were saying how the defeatist mentality/complaining from other managers probably seeps into their dressing rooms, gives players an excuse, etc. whereas Pep doesn't really complain and has just been getting on with it despite having players unavailable + fixture congestion.
I agree with this 100 per cent. Pep never makes excuses. It is just win at all costs. He takes the same attitude into pre-season friendlies. City never take the foot of the pedal. Pep has always stated that momentum is a bigger factor than tiredness. He will play a strong team at Swindon for this reason.

sky sports matchday saying ederson was a pen all day and then going to johnaton northcroft with a shit zoom connection and letting it run for 5 min despite not being able to hear a word hes saying, that sums up their standards
Now Kevin Campbell. How thick is he?
Ref Watford afcon scenario "hierarchical thing"
