Zabaleta was signed before the takeover.Don't forget our Zabba.
Some knew about Yaya but nowt about football as their headlines at the time show.

Or.... Ollie Holt, "Aguero will be the highest-profile signing of summer so far if it happens. Still think Charlie Adam to Liverpool could be best though."Spot on. I'd bet a pound to a pinch of shit that most of these bitter hacks had never heard of the likes of Ederson, Zinchenko, Rodri, Fernandinho, Jesus, Dias, and Laporte or the recently departed Torres before City signed them. KDB was widely regarded as a Chelsea flop who wouldn't succeed at City. Some of them said they'd never heard of Yaya and Silva when City signed them either.
I don't know, but I do know I wouldn't like to spend a lot of time in a skyscraper that's been designed using crayons. What does “soulless ice of technical drawing” mean anyway?

Goes to show the media is a shambles in it's knowledge of the beautiful game. The same media and pundits that were tipping up Chelsea and Liverpool at the start, because City short of a striker would fail in the big games.
They've sent me the cardboard box. The 2 receivers will be sent back today. If there was ever a time to sack off your subscription.
great pundit.Maybe but l found him an improvement of constantly malice filled twats on BBC, BT and Sky
They have history with this shit. Peddling the quadruple constantly so that if we didn't win everything last year it was a seen as a failure.I don't think the majority of Blues go along with this "the league is done and dusted" routine the media are peddling.Whilst it's a great position to be in , and the the football we play is usually a thing of beauty ,not many of us will be celebrating until it's a mathematical certainty, as with Peps mindset. I think many are setting us in the desperate hope of a fall,or even a " slippy" moment.
They've published a story that's been complimentary about us?Spot the mistake![]()
Manchester City are a 'winning machine' - Thomas Tuchel
Manchester City are "relentless" and a "winning machine" according to Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, who says his team have be realistic about catching the champions.www.bbc.co.uk
Had to laugh at that. Fabregas is moaning about a penalty when the headline says Xhaka "clumsily brought down Bernardo Silva", which is a penalty in anyone's world.Where has Fabregas been hiding for x amount of years?

Or for 21 years from 1992? 13 titles out of 20, or 8 out of 11 from 1992-93? Before the Pisscan retired they’d not only won 13 but had been runners up 5 times! Was this **** saying any of this in the 2019/20 season?
I wonder why they never focus on the question "Why are CFC, Dippers and the Arse ten points plus behind. Why not put a searchlight on the footballing deficiencies in those teams who can't keep up. Much easier and a measure of innate laziness to go for the team who's leading by a margin. Doesn't surprise me that it was never a problem in other seasons when it was another team which raced ahead. Then it was a case of Team X being better than the rest of the pack.
And much, much easier as I’ve never heard of the fucker before…….How about ignoring Johnny Nicholson.
Far more enjoyable!
Send it back, fuck it all in the bin. fuck them ..They've sent me the cardboard box. The 2 receivers will be sent back today.
Same goes for the BT TV receiver - although they only send you a plastic bag for that one!
Byeee!
Although the match day thread frequently suggests we are run by a load of muppets who employed a clueless manager to mange really shit players!!Primarily I'd guess because they don't like the answer and they know the fans of the other clubs won't like being told either. This isn't a one season phenomenon, it hasn't happened just since Pep arrived, it isn't even a five year phenomenon. It's been in operation since the day the Sheik took over. It's happened and been managed with military precision by executives with outstanding business acumen all based on recruiting the best people, giving them the best environment in which to operate and then allowing them to do their job. This has been happening under the noses of Ed Woodward, Henry, Levy, Kronke, Laurence and every other CEO and, rather than step up and improve their own clubs from the inside, they've sought to derail City from the outside. Sheik Mansour is happy to invest billions, confident that his investment will make billions (which it has). The likes of FSG, Kronke and the Glazers still want 'the billions', they just want them without the investment or the hard work that goes with it.
I think they did understand that on MOTD. But most pundits dont. The clear and obvious error wording is the VAR get out of jail card which is often used to defend poor Ref decisions, in this case however it was used entirely correctly. What's annoyed me about the media whingeing about the penalty incidents is the lack of understanding of how VAR is supposed to work. It's supposed to draw the referee's attention to a "clear and obvious error".
For the Ederson/Odergaard incident, the replays were very inconclusive and therefore it wasn't a "clear and obvious error". Had Attwell given it as a penalty, it most likely wouldn't have been overturned, as (again) it wasn't a "clear and obvious error". None of the twats appear to understand this, making them either totally thick or totally biased.
Bernardo, on the other hand, was clearly caught by Xhaka. In the ground, we all saw that and were astounded it hadn't been given. I didn't see the shirt pull at all but that was completely irrelevant. What is relevant was that Bernie was tripped and the ref missed that, which was a "clear and obvious error".
