What a joke of an article, “Roma had MORE English players in their most recent match than Man City did vs Swindon”

We have a fantastic stream of academy talents coming through, besides the fact we have several first team English internationals. Most of whom were out because of Covid

I know the standard of journalism generally these days is terrible, and I’m not one to cry agenda, but why always us?
Can't believe what I've just read.

Well I can actually as they are full of shit the sun and they like sticking the boot in but that piece was ridiculous.

Joshua Jones give yourself a pat on the back, that is if you have a backbone though.

It would have been more relevant to point out that Roma are shit and lying 7th with PEG inching ever closer towards the sack with each bad result. They're the Italian rags.

Re today’s Daily Mail Story that the EFL have inexplicably decided not to look into not the curious case of Liverpool’s false positives, and their apparent need to cancel their fixture with Arsenal as a result:

There is seemingly more chance of two people both randomly selecting the same star in our galaxy than Liverpool’s account of events being feasible (i.e. 40 or so lateral flow tests showing falsely positive).

For those false positives to then (again, unluckily) be confirmed by 40 PCR tests as also falsely positive, those two same people playing this game could now make things a little more interesting - and choose their individual stars from any of the other half billion galaxies too.

It has been recommended that people didn’t take a PCR for three months after an initially confirmed positive Covid test, as PCRs are capable of detecting the presence of the tiniest amount of virus 90 days after the infection has (to all intents and purposes) passed.

Yet, within a matter of hours or days (Liverpool have not, as yet, said how long after to my knowledge) the highly sensitive PCR testing conducted in round three (39 out of 40) showed the Liverpool staff and players to be utterly clear of even minuscule traces of virus.

And, er, we’re the conspiracists here apparently?

Nothing to see Mr Parry, as you were.

Was watching something recently and Dublin was described as a manchester united legend! Anyhow here is the relevant appearances/goals for all his clubs.

Legend = 2 goals!

The BBC are fast descending to Daily Mail levels of click bait and utter fùcking nonsense. Guess that is what employing ex-united employees gets you at Media City!
Interesting to note with a quick and easy bit of subtraction.
Dublin was a rags legend in 12 games he played for them but not a legend in the huge number of games 601 in total that he played for other teams which amounts to .5 of one per cent.
Hmmm I think I'll try that again. The games he played for the rags were .5 of one per cent of the games he played for the rest. Ie fuck all in comparison really.

I think.
I think it's just shy of 2% (given that 1% of 600 = 6, and he played a few more than 600 games in total).

Still nowhere near enough to be afforded 'legend' status though ;-)

All meaningless now though, as he is more famous for knowing what lies at the top of stairs, a proud moment for the Dublin family.

Why does the BBC web coverage of tonight’s game between the rags and Villa state: Dion Dublin - Former Manchester United striker on BBC One.
Have they conveniently forgot he played 10 times as many games for Villa?
To be fair he did go up on the roof there and told them it would add value if it got fixed.

Fabrizio Romano quoted on City Xtra showing once again he is a fucker blagger.

Insists the Foden contract delay is down to some clauses not yet being sorted.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Phil previous agent died last year and the current one acting for him has some personal issues which has simply delayed it being rubberstamped.

Phil is with a Liverpool based small firm which is also in the process of being sold.

Nothing to do with clauses or money, just Phil being a really nice guy and some things being more important than money in his eyes.

A kid with great integrity.

How is Cole Palmers goal not included as one of the best third round goals on the bbc? It's a class finish. He moves his whole body to the right just before he hits it to get himself balanced correctly. Then he aims for exactly the right place to get the ball in of the far post. Real quality. These journalists mustn't be watching the same highlights i am. Firminos back heel is a pretty simple goal but is included. Weird.

All the kids on Twitter love that fraud. City xtra should be calling him out but it’s all about the likes and clicks.
